Pitch Heating for Club Brugge, KV Kortrijk and AFC Ajax
VB Projects recently won the contracts for pitch heating installations in the stadiums of Club Brugge and KV Kortrijk, but also for 2 new training pitches of AFC Ajax.
In week 20 VB Projects began the installation works of a complete pitch heating system in the Jan Breydelstadion in Brugge. The complete system is executed with a special oxygen-tight heating hose, of which approx. 35.000 meters has been installed in the main soccer pitch.
After Brugge the pitch of the Guldensporenstadion in Kortrijk will be provided with a pitch heating system. Starting 2010 all soccer clubs in the Belgium Premier Division are obliged to install systems or provisions to guarantee the continuation of soccer matches in the Winter season.
Also AFC Ajax has purchased the pitch heating system of VB Projects once again. This time trainingsfacility De Toekomst is ready for 2 more heated trainingspitches. In 1997 VB Projects already installed the system in the main pitch of the Amsterdam Arena and the 2 main trainingspitches of AFC Ajax. Installation works in Amsterdam will start in the first week of June 2010.
